Abundant Life Assembly of God

Ministries We Offer

Sunday School: Sunday School is the foundational strategy in our church for building and discipling Christians through small groups.  Classes are available for all ages and needs, from preschoolers through adults.  Children and teens learn Biblical principles, stories and doctrinal truths through age-appropriate activities.  Adults classes cover in-depth Scripture studies and practical living topics.

Children's Ministries

Children's Church: Your children will be motivated and excited to attend our Children's Church program.  This special service for ages 3-12 is dismissed during the worship service on Sunday mornings.  Kids can pray, worship and learn about God's word in an environment that is their very own.  Skits, object lessons, and stories will help your children learn of God's love and show them how to put their Christianity into practice.

Jr. Bible Quiz: for children in grades 1-6.  JBQ offers a fun way for children to memorized God's Word and learn doctrinal truths. Children memorize Bible verses and doctrinal questions in order to quiz as a team at regional meets once a month.  JBQ meets weekly for team practice and personal study. We have both rookie and experienced teams.

Rainbows: For boys and girls ages 3-5 we have a special program that includes songs, activities, and Bible lessons that meet preschoolers' unique needs.  Your little ones will have fun and learn about Jesus.

Missionettes: Changing the world, one girl at a time.  That's the heart and sould of this program.  Missionettes is a great time for girls from kindergarten through seventh grade to get together, learn skills, and see how the Bible applies to their lives.  we teach Biblical principles right along with practical, everyday lessons from grooming to crafts.  Our leaders are committed to mentoring and helping these girls on their daily walk of faith. We offer Missionettes for girls in grades K-6.

Royal Rangers: This exciting program is for boys in kindergarten and up.  It is based on camping and related activities while including a major spiritual emphasis.  It includes achievement awards for camping accomplishments, community activities, church involvement, and Bilbical training.  Our goal is to reach, teach and keep boys for Christ.

Youth Ministries

Young people face many challenges, simply because of the world in which they live.  We believe that Jesus Christ can offer teens hope and direction that can radically change their lives.

Our main focus is to assist in meeting the uniqe spiritual and social needs of students in the teenage years, providing an atmosphere of acceptance and encouragement.  We do this by holding Wednesday night youth meetings along with a variety of events such as retreats, social activities, and outreach opportunities.

Adult Ministries

Small Group Bible Studies: Besides coming together for corporate worship on Sunday mornings, we encourage people to meet together in smaller groups in order to develop closer relationships among the body of Christ. Our small group Bible studies provide the opportunity to fellowship in a home environment and interact together as we go deeper into God's Word.

Theme: I Believe in Communion

What Does It Mean?

Read Exodus 12:21–27

As Roger took the juice and bread from the plate, his daughter leaned over. “Dad, why do you and Mom do this?” Roger smiled. He knew she would ask that question some day.

And when your children ask you, “What does this ceremony mean to you?” then tell them, “It is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.” Then the people bowed down and worshiped. (Exodus 12:26,27).

God expects every Christian to have an answer for questions about the faith (1 Peter 3:15). These answers are especially important when passing on the faith to the next generation. If it isn’t passed on, it will die out. And if their questions aren’t answered well, they may leave the faith later.

When the next generation asks about Communion, tell them it reminds you of what Jesus did at the Cross, how His body was broken and His blood poured out. Give them the meaning and give them faith.

Prayer Suggestion: God, help me give good answers when others ask me about You.
